Updated on June 16th, 2023 to include step-by-step photos, new photos and more relevant information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is an expression about <strong>salads,<\/strong> &#8220;It&#8217;s all about the dressing.&#8221;  Well, I kinda&#8217; got to agree with this.  Without a salad <strong>dressing<\/strong> what do you have really?  A bunch of ingredients swilling around a bowl with no connection to each other.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, you add the dressing and a little kind of magic happens.  That&#8217;s how it went for this super simple yet delicious salad.  It was all down to the Honey Lime Vinaigrette.  Supposed to be lime, but I didn&#8217;t have those.  The lemon filled in perfectly and the dressing salad combo was the tastiest I&#8217;ve had in a while. Just be careful not to over toss the salad and  squash the avocados.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Taste<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; A delicious fresh salad that is perfect for summer.  The honey lime dressing gives with a bit of a sweet taste which goes great with the fresh vegetables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Serving<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; As a side this, it will serve four people. I used can corn for this easy salad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Tomatoes <\/span><\/strong>&#8211; Cherry tomatoes work great.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Avocados<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Ripe avocados<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Spring Onion<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Spring onions add a great flavour to the salad mix.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For the dressing:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Lime Juice<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Lime juice adds a zest to the dressing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Olive oil<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; I used extra virgin olive oil as a base for the salad dressing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Vinegar<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; White wine vinegar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sugar<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; A small amount of sugar takes away the bitterness of the dressing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Honey<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Adds a nice sweetness to the dressing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Salt<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Just a little salt enhances the flavours of the salad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Black pepper<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Combine all salad ingredients in a large bowl and stir gently to combine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Make salad dressing <\/span><\/strong>&#8211; Combine all the dressing ingredients in a bowl and whisk. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Assemble salad<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; Pour dressing over salad and stir to coat all the vegetables.
